Ayelet Waldman

I just went and saw my favorite writer in the world speak tonight.  Sigh.  There aren't too many people that I actually admire enough to call a favorite, but she easily takes the cake.  Her new book is something that I had hoped she would write, and she finally did.  Or at least she took several essays and blogs and put them together in a book along with some insightful new views on recent events.  She is brutally honest and unapologetic (to an extent)  Check out her blog @ www.ayeletwaldman.com

Beth and Darren

Ahh, the lives we lead.  Darren commented on how fascinating it was to him what people do during the day while most people are working.  They do photo shoots with flowery pink trees Darren, thats what they do.  Let me know if you want the number to that modeling agency... 

Coney Island

So I took our foreign houseguest Torsten to check out Coney Island, and brought my dad's old 35mm camera from the 60's and now I'm bringing film back...I sure did miss it.

Ah, the gift of life...

  Audrey, you are certainly the most pliable pregnant woman I've ever met :)  Thank you for cheerfully trekking out from Brooklyn and climbing walls that no pregnant woman would dream of climbing just so I could get some stage shots!  You are so good natured, I can't wait to photograph little Matthew Valentine Redman some day soon...

Re-learning Photoshop

There are so many new tricks in Photoshop these days so I have been experimenting, and here is what I've come up with.  Its so hard not to go over the top...it takes a good amount of control!
